By using GotU, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

GotU helps users request and offer help with small tasks within the same ZIP code. GotU is a platform and is not a party to any agreement between users.

2. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required where you live).
  • You are responsible for your account and activity.
  • Provide accurate ZIP code information to keep tasks local.

3. Safety

  • Use common sense and meet in safe, public places when possible.
  • Do not use GotU for emergencies. Call local emergency services instead.
  • GotU does not verify identities and cannot guarantee task completion or payment.

4. Compensation

Tasks may be volunteer-based or may include an optional compensation amount. GotU does not process in-app payments and is not responsible for payment disputes between users.

5. Content & moderation

You are responsible for the content you post, including images. We may remove content or disable accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GotU is not liable for damages arising from user interactions, task outcomes, or content posted by users.
